Mattel is prototyping essential masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) gear due to increased demand of the COVID-19 outbreak that is a global virus. To help combat the need, Mattel is going into production to help hospitals, health care industry workers with material used to make Barbie and Fisher-Price toys and collectibles. At this time, they don’t have an exact date on when this will be in the hands of those that need it the most, but hopefully real soon these will be made.
The production of new toys for Barbie and Fisher-Price are allegedly being held up right now to get this essential equipment to those that need it the most, and we personally would like to thank Mattel for their swift actions during this usual and uncertain time.
