Alduin is loaded with some great sculpted details and looks almost exactly as he does in the game, with great sculpted scales and armored skin. His wingspan measures 15″ wide when fully extended, and the wings are on swivel-hinged joints allowing you to pose them up and down. The armor on his skin includes spikes on his chest, back and neck with some sharp edges. The armored spikes also cover his tail and legs. The tail has longer spikes at the end to create significant damage when he uses it as a weapon. His legs are short and bent, with long spikes at the knees, and toe nails. The figure is painted in a dark grey, with a wash that gives it a great likeness to the game and you can see all the great detail and sculpting.
The figure includes a base, with great sculpted details including skeletal remains, and a peg for him to stand on. There is also a peg for the flying stand to be inserted into, which connects to his stomach on a ball joint, and allows him to fly over the base in several poses.
Alduin is fully articulated including a swivel head, hinged jaw, ball jointed neck, swivel-hinged wings, ball jointed hips, swivel ankles, and a ball jointed and bendy tail.
Overall, Alduin came out great and one of the most detailed figures we’ve seen from the company in years. All of the sculpted details, scales and armor look amazing, and the game likenesses match the figures nicely. Alduin makes a great addition to your movie and video game figure collection.
