Playmobil is offering a new fortress playset that kids and collectors are sure to love, and this is offered in their new Novelmore line. This is a new line of Castles, Knights, Dragons, and inspired from the Middle Ages, and offers a variety of sets. This includes several new Castles such as the Grand Castle of Novelmore and Novelmore Burnham Raiders Fortress. This new line of imaginative play provides many hours of fun and creativity especially in the Summer months.

The packaging for the Novelmore Fortress comes in a box with excellent artwork creating scenery of the Fortress with an realistic looking backdrop on the back. The front has some artwork, and includes a look at some of the features and Knights in this set. The back also gives you a look at the entire playset, including all of the accessories, layout of the fortress, and a better look at the figures as they are positioned around the playset.
The Fortress measures 17 x 15 x 18 and includes walls around it to protect it from invading armies. The front of the fortress includes two doors that are designed to look like wood and metal, with walls designed to look like a light grey stones. Around the fortress includes a functioning catapult, a trap door, a crossbow projectile, a tower with a flag, flags positioned around the fortress at the corners, the top, a prison wall that opens, opening doors, three levels at the tower, platforms to walk around the fortress and a launcher for boulders.
The walls of the Fortress can also break apart easily to be put away, and is also combinable with other playsets in the Novelmore line and you can combine the walls, towers and other parts between the castles and other playsets. The set also includes four figures, horse, wolf, and an assortment of accessories that are shown in the gallery and in the video. The accessories for the figures are interchangeable, and each figure has removable armor and offered in the Playmobil style. Overall, The Novelmore Fortress is an excellent playset and we love the functionality and attention to detail on this set. Since it’s combinable with other playsets in this line, it’s a good idea to pick up the collection and create some great Castle playsets with an army of Knights. Since it’s the Summer and we’re all in quarantine, construction sets like this are extremely popular right now and this will keep your kids occupied for quite some time.
