Lurking in the darkest forest of the Multiverse lives the Cabin Pop-Up Diorama. Within the Cabin Pop-Up, you can hear the screams of all the horror toy photos that have been shot in it. This domicile of horror measures 14 inches tall, and is 24 inches square. The outside has a full exterior that features dread and fear around every corner. The inside is full of detail that echoes the screams of unimaginable terror. If you dare to shoot a photo of frights, you can remove the roof to look inside for a different perspective. Also, if you want to create the jump scare shot; the Cabin Pop-Up has opening doors. Over the years we’ve had the absolute pleasure of checking out some of the cardboard diorama’s that Extreme-Sets have been offering fans with great quality and attention to detail to enhance their toy photography and display. Some are obviously better than others, but only a few really speak volumes and shows exactly what the creative minds at Extreme-Sets can do, and one of those sets is this Cabin diorama. When you put this together from the flat box is comes in, it immediately resembles the quality of a doll house given the enormous size of it and attention to detail that gives it that cabin in the woods type vibe. The Cabin is by far one of the most attention to detailed pop up diorama’s that you can own on today’s market, as it not only looks amazing, but horror fans can easily see how this can pass as the Cabin used in Evil Dead.

The Cabin diorama set includes four double-sided walls for interior and exterior cabin-like details, two parts of the roof, an awning with a deck, four panels, two steps, and a flooring that measures 23″ by 29″. This also includes a front door, a side door, four windows, a removable roof and back panel, and beautifully done realistic artwork for both the interior and exterior details.

Like all other sets, there is no glue or supplies needed, and it folds up with good quality cardboard and becomes a 3D model. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, especially for anyone who is skilled putting something like this together.

Once it’s put together, it is massive and you can use it for dozens of figures, furniture, and whatever your heart desires. The Cabin can be displayed with walls and a roof on top, or as opened by removing the two panels that make up the roof, and the back panel to gain access to the interior details. Each half of the roof can also be removed separately to allow lights to be placed on top for interior lights. The floor does sink down a bit at the center so you’re going to need something to prop it up if you put figures or anything with weight on it. The walls have several key objects such as pictures, a wheel, and other objects as part of the design, which gives it a nice touch.

The awning is held up by four columns that are made of a thinner cardboard, and there is plenty of room for figures, furniture such as chairs, or whatever else you feel that this cabin needs. The back side of the awning is also held by circular velcro pieces attached to the cabin and the back of the awning.

Overall, the Cabin is an excellent diorama set that will enhance your photography and toy display. You will need plenty of room such as a table to display it on as it’s one of the largest models that you will own from Extreme-Sets. The artwork is amazing and realistic, and it has great quality and we love the attention to detail and high-end design. This is definitely something you need to own if you’re into toy photography and displaying your figures, and especially for fans and collectors of Evil Dead, as that is what this Cabin reminds us of most!
