Jazwares Fortnite Legendary Series 6″ Drift Figure Review

Jazwares is offering some new Fortnite Legendary Series 6″ figures that have recently seen release, including Fishstick, X-Lord, Eternal Voyager, Drift, P-1000 and Doggo. Drift was an ordinary human from California in the “real life” world and is one of the most recognized outfits in the entire Fortnite game. He resembles a kitsune, which is roughly a “legendary fox” in Japanese legends and stories. Drift is based on his appearance in Stage 5, and now he wears a black and gold oversized cloak. On the back of his cloak on stages 5 and 6 shows a symbol that resembles a “Torri”, or a doorway between mundane and sacred worlds, which matches his theme as he was rifted between the real world and the Battle Royale world.

Drift and other figures can be found right now on Amazon for $19.99 each. You can order these by clicking HERE!

Thank you to Jazwares for providing their Fortnite Legendary Series 6″ Drift Figure for review.

Availability: August 2020

Drift is packaged on a window box with a blister card in the back. The window is seen on the front and sides, his accessories, and around it is artwork including logos, character design from the game, and the back showcases the character with other offerings below him.

Drift is one of the most recognized characters and designs of the entire Fortnite franchise, and his likeness comes from a  kitsune, otherwise known as a “legendary fox” according to Japanese legends and stories. His mask is removable but since he does not have interchangeable face plates as other figures do, it leaves that blank space where a face would plug into. The head sculpt has a great sculpt and especially some great deco applied to look just as it does in the game. The cloak is also removable, and includes some nice done paint applications including metallic gold, black, and additional deco on the back done in pink in Japanese language. His outfits includes a pink vest, black sleeves with some gold and pink deco applied, black pants, light grey belt, light grey, pink, gold and black shoes.

Drift’s skate board, otherwise called the back bling can be used to ride on, or stored on his back. The bottom of the board has his face and colors applied to it, which came out great. The top of it has a sculpted texture, and a pin to plug it into the bottom of his feet or back. There are also pink rotating wheels at the bottom that allows it to roll across the floor.

The Duel Edge harvesting tools are another gem for this release, and are unique to him. These are painted with pink blades, metallic gold, silver, and red, and have sculpted chains hanging from the bottom of the handles. He can hold onto these in each hand, and for anyone wondering, these cannot connect to each other.

Drift includes an assortment of accessories, including his Dual Edge harvesting tools, Back Board (Drift) back bling, a Shadow Stone consumable, and Storm Flip, Tactical Assault Rifle, and Suppressed Sniper Rifle weapons.

Overall, Drift is an excellent figure and a great character to add to your collection. The overall design and deco is astonishing and this is one of the best eye appealing figures offered in this line. Jazwares continues to offer such great Fortnite characters and the quality of the figures are superb. What is also great about this line is that collectors have been buying these just because these are great toys, even if they never played the Fortnite game.
