Hasbro Transformers War For Cybertron: Earthrise PR Box Video Unboxing & Review

Hasbro continues their War For Cybertron: Trilogy series with Earthrise, which is the second of three series of the trilogy, and continues where the Prime Wars Trilogy left off. The War For Cybertron storyline will also continue on Netflix next year, and leave off where Siege left off that you can watch now by streaming the series. Earthrise toys are starting to ship now, and the third and last series of the trilogy, War For Cybertron: Kingdom will be the focus in 2021, which will introduce Beast Wars characters to the line. The Autobots and Decepticons will be mixed in with Maximals and Predatcons that fans remember well from Transformers: Beast Wars of 1996-1999, one of the most fan-favorite Transformers shows and toylines of all time.

Beyond Transformers War for Cybertron: Kingdom, Hasbro has not confirmed what the plans are, but we know from New York ToyFair 2015 (when Combiner Wars was introduced) that the Prime Wars and War For Cybertron trilogy’s will see three series each. It’s possible that Hasbro will move onto something else, but we should know more at New York ToyFair 2021. Another aspect that Hasbro will likely do something different is that at Hasbro PulseCon 2020, we learned that John Warden was moving off the brand, and going into Power Rangers and Ghostbusters. John worked on these lines and was one of the key people behind it throughout the run, which has been a great line of Transformers toys, and some of the most detailed figures and character offerings that we haven’t seen since the 1980’s. What the future holds for Transformers is uncertain, but we have Kingdom to look forward too which will be a fun line for Beast Wars fans!

Thank you to Hasbro and the Transformers Team for sending along their Transformers War For Cybertron: Earthrise PR Box for review.

The packaging for this PR box includes nicely done artwork inspired from the storyline, including space and an image of Earth. The artwork is nicely done and fits in with the overall theme of this upcoming show on Netflix.

This PR Box includes an assortment of Transformers War for Cybertron: Earthrise toys that are available now. Inside the box, are Megatron, Quintesson Judge, Smoescreen, Trailbreak, Fasttrack, Runamuck and Sunstreaker. Each figure is inspired form the show and features incredible detail as we’ve seen with modern Transformers toys, especially in the Prime Wars and War for Cybertron trilogies that Hasbro has been offering. The figures are packaged in window boxes with nicely done artwork inspired form the series, including images on the sides, and an image of the figures in both modes on the back.

Inside this PR box is also a tee-shirt that has the same artwork as the side of the figures packaging, with a look at many characters, including starships, and Unicron, along with many other characters.

Overall, this is an excellent PR box and Hasbro’s Transformers team put together something truly special here. Since Combiner Wars, i’ve personally been enjoying Transformers toy more than ever, and everything in this box is a perfect example of why Transformers is one of the best brands on the market. The attention to detail and overall design on these look great, and you surely won’t be disappointed with these and other Transformers toys on the market. These are definitely worth adding to your Transformers collection.

Check back soon as we will continue to take a look at each of these figures in individual reviews.
