Transformers War For Cybertron: Kingdom Series Now Streaming On Netflix

 

In 2001, we had to say goodbye to our favorite Maximal and Predacon characters when Beast Machines, the sequel to Beast Wars went off the air. Now, 20 years later, we say hello to a new generation that is introduced to these characters, in a recreation story arc that is streaming on Netflix now, called Transformers War For Cybertron: Kingdom. The toyline from Hasbro is based on this new series, and is currently in stores with more figures coming.

WHAT: Netflix and Hasbro, Inc., in partnership with Rooster Teeth, today premiered Chapter Three – KINGDOM – of the TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY. This highly anticipated final chapter of the animated trilogy, contains six, ~twenty minute episodes which are available to stream now!

Having crash-landed on Earth, the Autobots and Decepticons are confronted by two rival Cybertronian factions from a future that their conflict has inadvertently created, as the heroes and villains of the classic BEAST WARS: TRANSFORMERS series make their WAR FOR CYBERTRON debut. Now the Autobots must team up with the Maximals to confront the Decepticons, who have joined forces with the Predacons, in the race to find the missing AllSpark. However, the Predacons are in control of the Golden Disk, a mysterious artifact which has a personal connection to Megatron and gives him an untold advantage over his enemy, Optimus Prime. Which faction will triumph in the final battle that will decide the fate of Cybertron’s future?

Rooster Teeth (RWBY, gen:LOCK) is producing the original series for Netflix, and Polygon Pictures(Godzilla, Knights of Sidonia) is serving as the animation studio. TRANSFORMERS veteran F.J. DeSanto (Transformers: Titans Return, Transformers: Power of the Primes) is serving as showrunner on the series with several contributing writers, including George Krstic (Megas XLR), Gavin Hignight(Transformers: Cyberverse), and Brandon Easton (Agent Carter, Transformers: Rescue Bots).

The Series voice talent cast includes Jake Foushee (Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (Elita-1), Joe Zieja (Bumblebee), Frank Todaro (Starscream), Rafael Goldstein (Ratchet), Keith Silverstein (Jetfire), Todd Haberkorn (Shockwave, Red Alert), Edward Bosco (Ultra Magnus, Soundwave), Bill Rogers (Wheeljack), Sophia Isabella (Arcee), Brook Chalmers (Impactor), Shawn Hawkins (Mirage), Kaiser Johnson (Ironhide), Miles Luna (Teletraan I, Cliffjumper) and Mark Whitten (Sideswipe, Skywarp).
