Takara-Tomy released solicitations and preorders of their upcoming Transformers Masterpiece MP-56 Trailbreaker Figure are available now. Trailbreaker is based on his appearance in the G1 animated series, and is priced at $152.99 and expected to ship in January 2023. Trailbreaker transforms from robot mode into a Toyota Hilux 4WD truck. The Hilux is the first in the Masterpiece series to be officially licensed by Toyota Motor Corporation. The proportions of the figure in robot mode are the best in the series, and are based on the animated series. In robot mode, various parts of the figure are fully poseable, allowing the figure to be posed in various poses that can be seen in the show.
Included are interchangeable faces (laughing, shouting), an animated style grill, parabolic antenna, that can be used to recreate the vehicle mode which appeared in the animated series, a multi-nozzle, and effect parts.
