You know this was coming, and it was a only matter of time before Mattel and Mega Construx offered a new playset following the huge success that they saw with Castle Grayskull. Snake Mountain is a monster of a playset, and will be equally or even more impressive than Castle Grayskull. The set features 3,802 pieces and should cost around $400 USD, which is a jump considering that Castle Grayskull started with a $250 price tag before the price went up when it was reissued.
Update: July 6 – Snake Mountain is now confirmed to be released on Mattel Creations on July 8 at 9 PT for $321.
Snake Mountain includes 6 figures, Trap Jaw, Ram Man, Evil Lyn and Webster, Flying Fists He-Man and Dragon Blast Skeletor. The set has all of the tidbits of details that makes this playset great, including the throne, dungeon, a giant snake around the outside and many more tiny details throughout.
