The packaging is standard for the line, including the brown shipping box, which actually opens up by lifting the front up, rather than opening it by the side. This is the first-time I’ve seen Extreme-Sets offer a different way to open the brown box, and in my opinion is a better way as you can sort through the panels easier to find the ones you want to use.

Dungeon is given incredible looking artwork, with the purple stone walls with a wash and various shades, grey stones, including around the walls, including around the bottom and around the doors. This set features a stairway with grey stones, opening doors, columns, and a prison with two bars, and an alcove behind it, with the same purple and grey stones and grey floors as the rest of the set. The alcove is a separate piece, and is simply placed behind the prison, and also includes shackles that are part of the artwork. The bars itself don’t open, but you can stick a hand or weapon through it as there are gaps between the bars.

Each of the doors feature artwork to indicate wood, in various types and colors. Next to the doors are torches that are lit on the walls, with a gray stone attached to it.

The floor is one part that folds up, with a stone ground and just as impressive looking artwork as the rest of the diorama.

There is also a 3D coffin that starts out flat and you need to fold it into place. This piece is actually quite complicated as the instructions don’t specify enough how to do it, but eventually you can figure it out. Once completed, you will be able to fit a figure inside, such as a Vampire, or in this case a Mummy as I don’t own a 7″ scale Vampire figure in the Universal Monsters line at this time. But you can use a Vampire figure from other lines as that will work, just as long as you can either lay them flat to rest inside of raise the torso up so they look to be rising from slumber.

Castle fits in with 6″-7″ figures, such as Universal Monsters, but you can also use whatever you like as it’s not meant to only work with one brand or franchise. The staircase and prison are the two best features about this set, other than the artwork, and allows some great options to display and photograph. As this works best for Universal Monsters, we showed some of NECA’s Universal Monsters line, as well as their Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line that I desperately need to catch up on. These figures go well with the artwork, and makes for a great display or battle scenes.

Overall, Extreme-Sets have once again outdone themselves and this is truly an amazing set with a lot of great display, play and photography options. The artwork is amazing, great quality and attention to detail on the wall panels, staircase, prison, and floor. This is definitely something you need to own especially if you buy Universal Monsters, no matter if you are an adult of child. This makes a great option to display or photograph your figures for photography and toy display.
