Bandai Namco (formally Bandai America) have been reissuing some older Dragon Ball Stars figures that have been popular and sometimes often expensive to obtain on the secondary market. This includes some of the figures that were part of the first offerings, and one in particular was Majin Buu in his final form.
Interestingly enough, I had requested the new release of Main Buu, the taller version, but they insistently sent along the Final Form version as that was all that they had (Thanks to Bandai Namco for sending along!). This is the same offering as what’s come before, but it gives new comers to the line an opportunity to jump on board and own these figures.
With Dragon Ball Super returning this year, the franchise is surely going to pick up interest once again and you can be sure that figures will be flying off the store shelves. Majin Buu is based on his appearance in Dragon Ball Z, and this is his most powerful form.

Majin Buu is packaged in a window box, with artwork and images of the character, along with images Series 11 and 12 on the back.
Majin Buu, also referred to as Kid Buu, is the characters most powerful form. This is also his shortest form, and he keeps his pink skin tone, with white baggy pants, a black belt with a yellow that has the M logo on the front. The forearms and ankles have the black and yellow forearm and shin pads, and light green shoes. The skin has some sculpted muscles and tiny sculpted holes on the head, chest, and arms, as well as down both sides of his back.
The head sculpt has that long pink tentacle on top, black eyes with red pupils (this is a sticker), black ears, and white teeth.
The articulation is standard for the line, and includes a ball jointed head, ball swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, ball jointed wrists, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, double-hinged knees, and ball hinged ankles.
He includes a total of 5 interchangeable hand sculpts (closed fisted, open, and left pointy finger).
Overall, Kid Buu is a great choice for the line as he is one of the most powerful foes that Goku has ever fought. This figure pays a great likeness to the character of how was depicted on the anime series, so one you’re definitely going to want to add to your collection. This year, Bandai Namco also released the taller version of the character that is also available. Make sure to grab both versions now, and other figures while they’re available.
