Hasbro’s latest wave of G.I. Joe Classified figures is a strong one, and includes Quick Kick, Techno-Viper, Big Boa, Franklin Airborne Talltree, as well as Retro carded Duke, Recondo, and Scarlett. The Techno Viper is inspired from his 1987 figure offered in O-ring sytyle, and is offered in 6″ scale for the first-time.
The Techno Vipers mission is to offer field maintenance support and combat-engineer capabilit to the front line Cobra Troopers. This character can repair the H.I.S.S. tank and other vehicles, and electronic equipments. The Techno Viper is also capable of building bridges and retrieve large heavy machines from difficult to reach places. Their job is also to maintain and operate computer systems and electronics at Cobra bases and are specialized in robotics and artificial intelligence.

Techno-Viper is packaged in the standard G.I. Joe Classified window box, with artwork and logo’s on the front, sides and an image of the figure on the back.
The Techno-Viper comes in his classic dark and light purple, metallic silver and black outfit, and is inspired from his 1987 o-ring 3 3/4″ figure. The Cobra logo is on his chest, and has metallic silver tubes on his torso, and wrists, a holster for the pistol on his left hip, and red screens on his forearms.
The head sculpt looks great, with yellow eyes, a dark and light purple, and metallic silver deco.
Included with the Techno-Viper is a backpack, rifle, pistol, a holographic projection, a hose, power wrench, power claw and a power hammer.
The rifle can be placed in one or both hands, and the hose connects to the plug of the rifle, and the plug on the backpack.
The pistol can be stored in the holster, and the tools on the back of the backpack.
The tools can can also be placed in his hands, and the hose can connect to any of the three and the back of the backpack.
The holographic projection is all-new for this character, and plugs into the forearm. This is an awesome idea and something perfect for this, and other Cobra characters.
He is fully articulated and includes a ball jointed head and neck, butterfly shoulders, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, ball jointed waist, waist rotation, ball joined hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, the Techno-Viper is a great figure that fans are going to love. He is an army builder so you’re definitely going to want to buy more than 1.
