Friday The 13th Part 4 Jason Voorhees Ultimate edition figure brings together two head sculpts and a handful of accessories previously released from classic figures, and they have also updated the paint apps and mask. The figure also comes in the Ultimate window box packaging with the front cover using the iconic movie poster. The box of the box includes several great images of the figure and accessories. The inside flap shows an image of the figure, with the figure itself packaged in a window box with all of the accessories displayed around him. This includes a removable hockey mask, two interchangeable head sculpts, an alternate right hand, a machete, a Pamela Voorhees tombstone, corkscrew, hacksaw, and a cleaver.

The figure includes two interchangeable head sculpts, each with a removable mask that unveils his disgusting deadite head. The two masks are based on different scenes in the film, with one being shown in the beginning, and one towards the end. The two masks are very similar, with one having slight less paint apps that are worn off likely from rain in the course of the film. This is the red deco on the sides of the face, as well as a slightly less blood stain on the top. The figures sculpt has been previously seen before on existing figures from NECA, which includes the Friday the 13th Series 2 releases from 2013. The sculpt still looks great, and the blood stain/wash over the shirt and pants looks really good.

The paint apps on the head sculpt itself look like so realistic and detailed, that it makes the character look like he would as if he just walked right out of the screen. Both head sculpts include severe cuts on the top of the head, with one of them having a huge gash from the machete, which can be placed and held inside the groove. Every detail in paint looks amazing, even the fingernails are individually painted on the hands.

Jason includes at least 25 points of articulation, so posing him won’t be a problem when recreating dynamic poses from the film. This is bar far the better of the three Ultimate Jason figures that NECA has done in the past couple of years, with superior deco, detailed likeness, and the wide of accessories easily make this one stand out.
