Since 1988, toy companies have introduced fans to some of the most creative and memorable action figures and playsets ever made. There is a new Encyclopedia campaign on Kickstarter right now that commemorates all of the action figures, vehicles, playsets and more from 1988-2017 in one collected edition. The book’s campaign will run until . If funded, the book will ship in December 2017/January 2018.
The book is by Jay Lawrence, who is not affiliated with Playmates Toys, NECA, JAKKS Pacific, Kidrobot, Bandai or any other company.
Why a TMNT book?
Well for starters, its never been done before. What started as a compendium of classic figures ended up being perhaps the largest action figure and accessory book ever. The book covers practically ever TMNT action figure series from 1988 to 2017. The book will also cover vehicles, weapons, statues, accessories, and packaging. The book will have action figures both inside and outside of the packaging.
