Charles Xavior, also known as Professor X founded the X-Men, and is given a brand new Minimate complete with a wheel chair (as opposed to the hover chair) and interchangeable head sculpts and accessories. Professor X is sculpted with a tan suit and pants, with the jacket as a separate piece that is placed over his chest. The dark beige-green suit is inspired as he appeared in the classic X-Men Comics. He includes an attachment to his head that simulates his psychic powers, a frequent method of depicting them in classic comics, a helmet he uses to active cerebro, and an interchangeable head sculpt of the villain Mastermind. Mastermind is a founding member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and also has psychic abilities generate complex telepathic illusions at will that cause his victims to see whatever he wishes them to see. This head sculpt is a great addition to the set, but it also resembles that of Tony Stark. The coat and upper torso attached to it is for Mastermind, which is used as his transformation from Xavier to Mastermind.

The wheel chair has a good likeness to the comics, and is painted in silver with black trim on the wheels. It includes a level for him to hold into to activate the wheels. Also included is an acrylic figure stand for Mastermind.

Jean Grey, other known as Marvel Girl is painted in her classic green and yellow outfit, with the shirt and shorts being green and the gloves and boots are yellow. There is also a yellow belt with a black and red X-Men logo as the belt buckle. She is given two interchangeable hair pieces, one with the mask, and one without. There is also some black deco detailing the body on the chest and shorts, and the facial details include lipstick. Also included with Jean Grey is a psychic action base that is translucent purple, and an acrylic figure stand.

Quicksilver is the son of Magneto, the brother of the Scarlet Witch and Polaris, and have been a members of teams such as the Avengers, X-Factor, Inhumans, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Quicksilver is painted in his green and white outfit. Like the blue suit, he maintains the white lightning stripe across his chest, back and belt. The shirt and pants are painted in a lighter green, and the shorts are painted in a darker green to match the comics. The black deco details on the chest and legs are nicely done and and shows his muscular physique. Included with Quicksilver  is a speed effect stand to showcase his mutant ability to run with lighting speed, and an acrylic figure stand.

Toad is the primary reason why you need to buy this set, as he makes his Minimates debut and is offered in his classic purple and orange outfit. Toad is a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and has the ability leaping like a frog, and a long tongue capable of grabbing an object or someone from close distance. The outfit includes a purple neck piece, shirt and shoes, and orange sleeves and pants. The black detail on the clothing is nicely done and defines the clothing such as the belt. Toad also includes an acrylic figure stand.

Overall, this classic X-Men box set is beautiful, and DST have once again offered incredible characters with outstanding detail and accessories.
