Thank you to Hasbro and Hasbro PR for providing their Amazon Exclusive Marvel Titan Hero 12-Pack Figures for review.

Availability: November 2017

The set includes 12 figures from both Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. This set is packed in a box with beautiful artwork showcasing all of the characters inside. The figures are stored with dividers and plastic bags, that keep them from rubbing against each other and protect the plastic and paint. All characters are based on their modern appearances as seen in the film as well as some of the comic books, so that parents and kids can identify them.

Captain America is sculpted in his Captain America: Civil War outfit, with the red, white, blue and brown deco and a shield that attaches to his back as well as his hand. The sculpt includes knee pads, a belt with pouches, shoulder armor, shoulder straps across the chest, and a good amount of detail as seen in the film. The shield is painted in red, white and blue, with a glossy finish. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with very little to no range of movement, hinged-swivel shoulders, swivel forearms that is hard to move, and hinged hips.

Iron Man is sculpted in his red and gold armor, with the sculpt featuring lines to indicate the detail in the chest, back, arms and legs. The Arc Reactor is at the upper part of the chest painted in blue, which is the same color as the eyes. There is also silver deco on the neck. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with very little to no range of movement, hinged-swivel shoulders, swivel wrists, and hinged hips.

Black Widow is sculpted in her black, red and grey outfit, with stingers on her wrists that are connected to the wrists. The stingers are removable, as is the belt. The sculpt is mostly smooth, with some detail such as knee pads, elbow pads, and some wrinkles on the shirt. The head sculpt is nicely done, and includes her brown hair, with eyelashes, eye balls, and lipstick painted on. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with some range of movement, swivel shoulders, and hinged hips.

Spider-Man is sculpted in his classic red and blue outfit, with webbing sculpted on the red part of the outfit, and the blue part being smooth. There is also a spider sculpted on his chest, and his head sculpt has the big white eyes with black trim around them. The left hand is sculpted in the web shooter position. There is no wrist articulation on this figure, so you can’t move the wrist. The only option is to have the left arm pointed up, as if Spidey is swinging his webs around New York. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with almost no range of movement, swivel shoulders, and hinged hips.

Thor is sculpted in his dark blue outfit, with silver on his chest, blonde hair, and a grey mask. The sculpt has some nice details including the lines and textures on the boots and belt, along with various details in the torso. The arms are sleeveless, and there are red wrist bands. The facial details are good, with facial hair, and blue eyes. Included with Thor is his hammer, and the handle cannot fit in his right hand, only the strap can. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with almost no range of movement, swivel shoulders, swivel wrists and hinged hips.

The Falcon is sculpted in his blue and light grey outfit, with red wings that are removable. The head sculpt is masked, with a light grey and red mask covering a small portion of his head. The hair has some nicely detailed texture, and the facial details including the eyes, nose and mouth came out nice. The sculpt has a muscular one that shows up in the costume. The wings are attached to wrist guards as well as the top of the arms, and are easily removed and put back on. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with almost no range of movement, swivel shoulders, swivel wrists and hinged hips. There are also some sloppy paint apps on the arms on this figure, with the red metallic gauntlets bleeding onto the skin.

Black Panther is sculpted in his modern black and silver suit, and the suit is sculpted smooth, with some details such as knee pads, a muscular tone, and wrinkles. The silver deco is painted on the belt, forearms, and the nicely sculpted chain with claws around his neck. The head sculpt is masked, and has the ears of a panther, as well as thin white lines for the eyes. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with a good range of movement, swivel shoulders, swivel wrists and hinged hips.

Hawkeye is sculpted in his black and purple outfit, with purple on top of the chest, and also on the shades. The sculpt includes knee guards, a belt with pouches, and various details such as lines showcasing armor on the hips and torso. The head sculpt is nicely done, with blonde hair, and a basic style for a nose and mouth. The hair has a texture and each thread of pushed forward on the top of the head. Included with Hawkeye is a bow staff. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with a good range of movement, swivel shoulders, swivel wrists and hinged hips.

Ant-Man is sculpted in his black, red and silver outfit, and has one of the best paint apps in this box. The red and silver deco is painted over the black, and details the knee guards, gauntlets, belt, and details the torso and shoulders. The head sculpt is nicely done, with the ant ears on top, and the silver mask, with red eyes and black trim around them, and black deco on top and back of the head. Ant-Man does need an accessory however, such as a smaller version of himself or at least a blaster can that be placed in his right hand. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with a good range of movement, swivel shoulders, swivel wrists and hinged hips.

Star-Lord is inspired by the animated series, and is sculpted in his red Ravenger jacket, a light blue shirt, and dark grey pants. The sculpt has some nice detail especially on the shirt showcasing the muscles and wrinkles, the Ravenger jacket has nicely detailed shoulder pads, and the pants have a belt, knee guards, plugs for the blasters, and various other details. The head sculpted is masked, which is painted in a dark grey, gold, and red eyes. The detail on the mask is nicely done, and the hair looks really good. Included with Star-Lord are two blasters, that can be placed in both hands, or onto his hips, The downside here is that the arms cannot be raised without the figure falling over. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with a good range of movement, swivel shoulders, swivel wrists with very limited movement, and swivel-hinged hips.

Groot has one of the more detailed sculpts, with lines sculpted through the entire body, and roots growing on his chest and right arm. Groot is sculpted as he appears on the animated series, with an animated inspired deco, and details including bark of a tree throughout the sculpt. The head sculpt is nicely done, with the facial details and the area around the top of his head featuring nicely sculpted details. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with a good range of movement, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel forearms, and swivel-hinged hips.

Gamora is also inspired by the animated series, and is sculpted in her dark blue outfit, with black boots, and a removable grey belt around her waist. The top of the boots include knee guards and other padding, and the belt includes pouches and is adjustable. The arms have black forearm guards that also go around the wrists. The head sculpt is nicely detailed, and the hair has the blue and purple deco, with good facial details on the head. Included is her extended sword, and there is some sculpted detail just above the handle. The articulation includes a ball jointed head with a good range of movement, swivel shoulders, and hinged hips.

Overall, this is a nice set and most of the figure have a lot of great details and deco. Aside from various issues with several of these figures, this is definitely something that kids will love.
