The Disney Store will be offering their exclusive Star Wars Toy Box Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett figures, which are both available in stores and online beginning March 27th. The Star Wars Toy Box figures are based on the Disney: Infinity game designs, and are re-engineered and articulated. In the game, franchises could interact throughout all of Disney’s properties such as Marvel, Star Wars and Disney/Pixar characters. Fans of that game can now collect highly detailed and articulated figures based on those designs.
Recently, Disney Store announced additional characters that will be included to the Toy Box line-up, which includes Captain America and Star-Lord for Marvel, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Princess Leia for Star Wars, and The Incredibles – Mr Incredible, Mrs Incredible, Violet and Dash for Pixar.
Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett are part of the next wave of offerings as part of this growing collection.

Disney Infinity was Disney’s version of LEGO Dimensions, where franchises collide and characters can interact. These figures are loosely based on this game, and have been re-engineered and articulated to resemble the game’s likeness. Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett are the latest Star Wars offering in the Toy Box line, with other characters, as mentioned above to join the line at some point in the near future.
Luke Skywalker stands at 4-3/4″ tall and is numbered as #5 on the packaging. Luke Walker features an animated video game likeness of Actor Mark Hamill as he appeared in the Original Trilogy. Luke Skywalker is sculpted in his Tatooine outfit as seen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, with his off white tunic and beige pants, as well as the beige shoes. His belt is sculpted around his waist, that is painted in a dark brown with a grey belt buckle, pouches that are sculpted on the belt, and a binocular that is painted in black and grey on the right side of the belt. The lower part of the white tunic is made of soft plastic, which hands below the belt.
His head sculpt is where some of the best sculpting of the figure comes into play, and has an excellent likeness to his appearance in the Disney Infinity game. This is animated inspired, and looks almost identical to the game, as well as even the clothing. The head sculpt includes blonde hair, blue eyes, and nicely detailed facial details including the nose, mouth, eyes, and even blonde eye brows.
Included with Luke Skywalker is his blue lightsaber, which can fit in either hand sculpt. Luke Skywalker is also nicely articulated, with a ball jointed neck, ball hinged shoulders, ball hinged elbows, ball jointed wrists with limited range of motion, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, ball hinged knees, and swivel-hinged ankles.
Overall, Disney Infinite was a great video game, and we are loving this new line by Disney. The Star Wars Toy Box figures are great additions to any Star Wars toy collection, and definitely something that all fans should own. Luke Skywalker features an excellent likeness to the game, and an overall great figure.
