Once assembled, there are three main components that make up the Heartbreak Hotel as shown above, and a figure can be seated or lay down on the bed. As it’s meant for Shawn Michaels, this set is best used for him, but can also seat and hold additional figures of your choice.

Shawn Michaels has had a very long career in the WWE, and had lasted in the business for decades going toe to toe with some of the most iconic and legendary characters of all time. This appearance of Shawn Michaels of one of the more memorable one of the 1990’s, as this was his Heartbreak Hotel outfit of 1994. At the time, Shawn Michaels was one of the biggest stars of the WWE following the departure of Hulk Hogan in 1993, and the Heartbreak Hotel set was used as a talkshow and this is one of the ways that Shawn Michaels stood out from other Wrestlers.

The figure stands at roughly 6 3/4″ tall and has a great likeness. The vest us made if soft plastic, and is sculpted with various textures and patterns that stands out of the overall design. Te vest could be removed, but it’s not the easiest thing to do. The vest is red, and the patterns and deco are black and silver. The pants are paint in white, with broken hearts that have a crack on the bottom, and the hearts have black trim around them with black lines. On his left arm, is his iconic tattoo with the knife and heart that is painted in red and black. His hands are gloved with the exception of his fingers and back of his hands, and the knee pads are made of a soft black plastic. The words Heartbreak Kid are across his buttocks in red deco with black trim, and there is also a heart with black trim around it where the word “kid” is located, with a crack in that on the bottom as well. His boots are mostly white, with some silver deco along the front, sides and back of the feet. His chest has the hair deco with black lines as previously used on various figures in the line, and his head sculpt includes silver earrings as seen on the WWE. His head sculpt has long blonde hair, and a nicely detailed facial likeness. Included with Shawn Michaels are a pair of shades the slide into his hangs, and fit nicely over his face.

His articulation includes a ball jointed neck, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles.

Overall, Shawn Michaels and the Heartbreak Hotel Interview Set came out amazing, and features superior detail and looks just like they did back in the day. Mattel has once again done a fascistic job on these, and we especially love the fact that they finally got to this version of Shawn Michaels.

Look for reviews of the other three figures in the set coming soon.
