Playmobil is back at New York Comic-Con for the second time in the company’s history, and they are showing off a new adult Collector Grade Ghostbusters sets coming in 2019.
Playmobil Ghostbusters sets are available on Entertainment Earth and Amazon.com.
There is a new Ecto-1 and figure set coming with all four of the Ghostbusters, and this set is inspired by Ghostbusters 2, where the first Ecto-1 release was inspired by the first film. This new Ecto-1 has additional details on the roof that you can check out in the gallery. This includes the Ghostbusters lighting, satellite on top, and more.
There is a also a 4 figure set coming with one of them at least slimed. Each new figure will have premium deco, and while details on this aren’t made available, we expect to know more by New York ToyFair in February.
There will even be a 6″ figure assortment as shown in their Ghostbusters 1 uniforms. These will each include accessories and are single packed.
Playmobil has heard about Extreme Ghostbusters, but no announcements (or plans) have been made. This was be the next property to take on as they’ve already done Ghostbusters 1 and 2, and The Real Ghostbusters.
