Zuckuss is the latest offering from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, and completes the Bounty Hunters that were hired by Darth Vader to hunt down the Millennium Falcon. This year, Hasbro has more figures from the Original Trilogy that fans have been requesting for years, which also includes Dengar, 4-LOM, Dewback, Grand Admiral Moff Tarkin, Admiral Prett and others. Zuckuss is a male Gand, which is an insectoid species, with compound eyes and a respirator so he can breathe ammonia while operating in oxygen-rich atmospheres.

The figure features a soft goods cloak that is dark brown with a light brown wash, and includes stitches keeping it together. The outfit gives the figure a high-end look, and came out exceptionally well. Over the soft goods is a beige harness with pouches in front and back, and a breather pack on his back for his respirator. Underneath the cloak he is supposedly given body armor, as depicted in the characters movie bio, but as the cloak cannot be removed, we’re not sure what Hasbro’s designers did underneath it. The legs can be seen underneath, which are dark brown pants and boots, and sculpted details and textures. His head sculpt is remarkable and captures an excellent likeness to the character, and we are particularly fond of the eyes and respirator, as well as the sculpted detail on the head itself. He also has two long tubes that are part of his head, that goes all they way underneath his arms and up to his lower back. His skin color is brown, and he is given several deco washes. His hands are gloved, and he can hold on his included snare rifle.

Zuckuss is fully articulated, which includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, ball jointed wrists, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles. As most of the articulation is under the cloak, his range of motion is more limited than most other figures.

Overall, Zuckuss features an excellent figure sculpt with a superior movie likeness. The sculpt and soft goods came out great, and Star Wars fans will be thrilled to add this character to their collection.
