Jazware’s Fortnite line is one of the hottest properties right now on the market, and this includes a full line-up of action figures, including a multipack and singles, and this Turbo Builder Set where you can create a building or anything to your hearts desire just like you see in the video game. Just last week, we covered the packaging that was sent out, which is a life-size chest, that carried all of these sets when Jazwares shipped them out. That chest is truly amazing, and definitely one of the most impressive packaging we’ve ever seen.

The Fortnite Turbo Builder Set by Jazwares allows you to create structures, a Llama, a battle scene and more as seen in the game, or use your own imagination and build something new. This set includes 81 building materials, with 27 wood, 27 brick, and 27 metal pieces. The wood pieces have pegs on them so that the figures can stand and pose, and all three of these different pieces can connect. The paint applications for each one is different, and these look exactly as they are seen in the game, with great detail, sculpting and paint applications. The wood pieces are orange with a brown wash, the brick pieces are light and dark brown, and the metal pieces are gray with a silver wash over it. Each piece is squared, and connecting some them may be difficult, especially if you choose to build something big such as a fortress with walls and places to hide.
The pieces can be used to create one big structure, or several smaller structures. Unfortunately, this set does not include instructions, so you will have to be creative or look up some of the structures shown in the game and try to match that as best you can. We found that building the ramps as shown on the box was difficult, as connecting pieces next to it didn’t exactly fit on so well. So we went with structures without ramps, but it’s possible to create ramps, and you will have to probably copy a structure shown in the game to make one.
The figures included in this set are Raven and Jonsey, and these are two of the most popular characters in the game. The appearance of them kind of have a Cobra Commander and Duke theme going on, at least that’s what we thought of at first.
Raven is in his black, purple, blue and silver outfit, with a black hood over his head with a smooth black mask over his face, and white eyes with a purple trim around them. The outfit is mostly black, with purple pants with a grey patch on the left knee, straps on the other and grey boots. There is a harness over his chest with dark green straps, a blue collar around his neck that is connect to a purple mask hanging below on his chest. He also has a light purple ribbon on his right arm, grey gloves, a silver belt that is connected to the black skirt around his waist with stitches and blue feathers on his hips, a gold belt buckle above the skirt with a brown belt, and various silver deco on the sculpt.
Jonsey is sculpted and painted in a dark green vest, with a dark green harness over his shoulders and chest that also has silver buckles, brown and tan camouflage pants, green knee guards and a silver wash, green feet guards, blue boots, black straps holding the knee and feet guards in place, a green belt, green gloves, a red band around his right arm, a tattoo printed on, and a scarf around his neck. The right wrist also has a device painted in silver with a blue screen, which is sculpted onto a green wrist band. The head sculpt is nicely done, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and nicely done sculpted facial details.
The figures each include accessories, which has Raven getting two rifles, a revolver and a harvesting tool. Jonsey includes a rifle and an axe.
The articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball jointed torso, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, the new Fortnite line-up by Jazwares is one of the best toy lines currently on the market, and the Turbo Builder Set gives fans the building pieces needed to create something epic as seen in the game. Both Raven and Jonsey look great with superior deco and attention to detail on the sculpts. Fans of the game, and action figure collectors in general should definitely purchase this set and other offerings currently available.
