Mattel NYTF 2019 – Showroom Coverage

We are at the Mattel Showroom this morning at New York ToyFair 2019 and have a full gallery to share with you below. This includes new reveals from DC Multiverse, which will see its final year at Mattel before moving over to McFarlane Toys, as stated in the press release.

The Mattel marketing team left last night BEFORE the press had attended this morning, which is something we weren’t aware of until we began asking the questions that our readers want to know. As of this morning, we could not get any updates on the future of the basic Batman Missions and Justice League Missions lines that are currently out in retail, but will wrap up in 2019 as Mattel is losing the DC license. We will of course reach out to several contacts from the DC team once we get back from ToyFair. Apologies all around.

Also, no updates as of today on ThunderCats Classics. As the right people from Marketing aren’t here, it’s hard to get this information. We will of course keep trying while we’re here – so check back for updates to this article, if possible.

Update – Despite several efforts, we were unable to obtain any information as stated above. Check back for updates after NYTF as we will be emailing people at Mattel to try our best to obtain any and all information on ThunderCats and DC.

Mattel products are available to order on Entertainment EarthBigBadToyStore, Megalopolis: City Of Collectibles and Amazon.com.

What was shown are new DC 6″ figures including Batman, Joker, Riddler, Poison Ivy, and Red Robin (this figure won’t be part of the wave).

A basic figure of Shazam from the movie is shown.

Also shown are 12″ Justice League figures, which have more articulation.

WWE figure have previously been revealed, and this is the showroom coverage.

Fisher-Price is also offering 80th Anniversary Batman set that is exclusively available at Wal-Mart. The single carded figures are available at Target.
