Ric Flair is packaged in the retro GameFest inspired packaging that is similar with what was offered with Honky Talk Man, Macho Man Randy Savage and Shawn Michaels. The packaging pays a great tribute to the classic video game of the WWF that so many children played with and spent many hours and quarters on this classic game. Ripc Flair is featured on both sides of the packaging and the wording on top reads WWF (now WWE) RetroFest. On the back, is his bio such as height, weight, place of birth, signature moves and finishing move.

Rip Flair stands roughly at 6 3/4″ tall and is inspired by his early 1990’s appearance that is now considered the Golden Age of Wrestling. Throughout his career, Ric Flair walked down the aisle in many different ring attires in a variety of colors. This particular ring attire outfit stands out more than anything else we, and most fans best remembers with his classic red and silver robe. The outfit is made of fabric with a belt that’s tied in the front holding it in place, and is completely detailed with some of the best paint applications mixed with soft fabric goods being offered. This includes silver shapes and patterns throughout the ring attire, along with his name on his upper back. The ring attire is made of one piece, and can be removed carefully with the belt still tied.

Once removed, the figure is ready to wrestle and is sculpted and painted in his classic red shorts with the RF logo in white, with red and pink knee pads placed over his knees and these are made of a soft plastic, and red boots with white shoelaces. His is muscular and bulky, and the head sculpt has a great likeness to him. The hair is blonde and sculpted in his iconic style, with it being long and straight. Fans collecting this line will be aware that this figure is a reissue and a repaint from his defining moments release with the blue shorts, with a brand new ring attire being offered in this release.

His articulation includes a ball jointed neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, double hinged knees, swivel boots/calves, and hinged rocker ankles.

Overall, Ric Flair is an excellent figure and a great update to this iconic Legends, and this figure features a superior likeness with a great soft goods ring attire. Fans of 80’s and 90’s Golden Age of Wrestling won’t want to miss out on this one, as the memories of those days live on now with new WWE figures by Mattel.
