In Friday The 13th Part V ( A New Beginning), which takes place five years after the previous film, and includes an established survivor from the film series – Tommy Jarvis, who killed Jason Voorhees as a child, now lives in a halfway house along with other adults, has nightmares about Jason’s return. A new Jason is introduced in this film, which includes the deranged imposter Jason, who is Roy Burns disguised as Jason to avenge the death of his son.

Roy Burns is packaged in a window box with an opening flap as previously seen in all of NECA’s Ultimate figures. The cover includes artwork showcasing Jason’s hockey mask, artwork on the sides, and there is a bio on the back with detailed images of the figure inside.
Roy Burns is given the Ultimate treatment and is sculpted and painted in his his dark green coverall, whereas Jason himself usually only had a dark green shirt and pants that were a different color. The sculpt include a texture, including wrinkles on the cloths, dried blood splatter and a cut along his abdominal with his intestines showing. The coveralls also have sculpted pockets on the chest and back pants, buttons and a collar. His shoes are brown with a wash on it, and have silver metallic loops for his shoelaces. His skin cont looks good, and there is a wash on his hands, and the mask over Roy Burns head. The hockey mask is also nice done with beige deco that includes a wash over that as well, and stripes on the sides. Jason’s bald head and ears are sculpted over Roy’s head, and you can see the details showcasing this when you look at his head sculpt. This part cannot be removed, but you see Roy’s facial details, black hair and eyebrows.
Roy Burns comes a selection of accessories including a cleaver, hunting knife, machete, garden shears that swivel, road flare, railroad spike, spear, a stick and more. Some of the accessories, mostly the knives have blood splatter, including the machete, knife, garden shears and cleaver.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, double-jointed elbows, ball jointed wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, and rocker ankles.
Overall, Roy Burns is an excellent figure with great detail, paint and sculpting. Roy is a great addition to the line and mostly needed for the most die-hard of horror fans. Look for him now in stores, or order online below.
