The Disney Store is now offering their exclusive Disney Toy Box Aladdin With Abu Figure, which joins the Genie figure. Aladdin and Jeanie aren’t the only two characters that were in the game, as additional offerings such as Jasmine, the magic carpet and Jafar are likely to come at some point as well.
The Toy Box figures are based on the Disney: Infinity game designs, and are re-engineered and articulated. In the game, franchises could interact throughout all of Disney’s properties such as Marvel, Star Wars and Disney/Pixar characters. Fans of that game can now collect highly detailed and articulated figures based on those designs.

Disney: Infinity was Disney’s version of LEGO Dimensions, where franchises collide and characters can interact. These figures are loosely based on this game, and have been re-engineered and articulated to resemble the game’s likeness.
Aladdin is packaged on the standard blister card, and the back shows both Aladdin and the Jenie.
Aladdin is based on his iconic appearance from the Disney: Infinity, which took his likeness from the classic Aladdin animated film. The figure is sculpted and painted in his purple vest, pants with attached sash, brown belt, and a red hat as seen in the game and animated movie. The pants are on the baggy side and the sash has black stitches on all four sides. His head sculpt is nicely done and the facial express shows him smiling with his eye balls looking up up the left. The hair is cast in black and has some sculpted waves, and the hat is attached to the top.
His articulation includes a ball hinged head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, swivel-hinged hips, hinged knees, and swivel ankles.
Abu, his monkey, is included as an extra character or accessory, and also has a great likeness to him. He is sculpted and painted with a red vest and a red and purple hat. His fur is painted in a brown with his face, ears, hands and feet in a light beige. The top front part of his hair is sculpted forward like a wave, and his facial details are nicely done with his eyes looking forward. He also has a bendy tail, and his only point of articulation is a ball jointed head.
Overall, Aladdin features a great likeness to the gamed classic film. Disney fans should definitely add this one to their growing Toy Box collection, or at least fans of classic Disney animation. This figure and more Toy box figures are available to purchase right now at The Disney Store.
