Hasbro continues their Avengers: Endgame offerings in the Marvel Legends line, and this wave comes with a particular version of Thor that you don’t often see on the big screen, and definitely not in the toy aisle. This version of Thor is based on how he looked in the film, with a fat out of shape Thor with a beer belly, also referred to as Bro Thor or the Big Thorbowski. In the film, Thor was the one to slay Thanos from the currently timeline, and then retired, drank a lot of beer, and became obese. This wave also offers additional characters that were seen in the film, but also make their debut in this line, including Heimdall, Valkyrie, Vision, Iron Patriot, Iron Man, and Captain America.

Each figure is packaged on the standard Marvel Legends window box, with images of the figures on the sides, and Thor featured on the back with a breakdown of which figure comes with which part(s) to build him.
This Avengers: Endgame wave gives you a nice selection of movie based figures, which some of you don’t already own such as Heimdall, Valkyrie, and Iron Patriot. In most cases, you probably already have multiple versions of the figures in this wave, but these figures are also updated with new sculpts, or variations that you also don’t already have. This includes Vision, and even though he’s a reuse, this version gives you a translucent offering as if he’s phasing through.
The head sculpts on these figures uses the “photo realistic” technology that’s currently used by Hasbro in toy design, and for the most part these have great likenesses to the actors. All of the costumes in this assortment are also great likenesses to how they looked in the film, and the paint applications are also great, but some may have some bleeding over. For accessories, Iron Man includes the most with interchangeable hands, four blast effects for his hands and feet, and the Infinity Gauntlet that can be used to fit into Hulk’s hand. Captain America includes his shield, Valkyrie includes her sword and a sheath, Heimdall includes his sword, and Thor includes an interchangeable head, axe and left hand.
Overall, this is a great line-up of characters and it offers a version of Thor that you definitely need to own. This wave is impressive, and while Hasbro has previously mixed waves with both movie and comic-based figures, this one is great for those that only want on-screen offerings.
