NECA Toys have revealed a new preview of the tooling process of their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles MetalHead 7″ Scale Figure, which is expected for release in 2020. The figure is based on his classic cartoon appearance and joins other figures from the ’87 series. In the classic cartoon, MetalHead was created by Krang, and the character would be used in other television series. In the 2012 series, Metalhead was created by Dontallo and served as the fifth Turtle.
This new image gives you a look at his articulation, which was not shown previously.
As you are probably aware, NECA has been offering these figures as specialty items such as convention exclusives, or store exclusives such as Target. We don’t know yet as how MetalHead will see a release, and this probably won’t be confirmed at least until New York ToyFair in February 2020.
