Terminator: Dark Fate is the latest installment of the franchise and is set 25 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and ignores Terminator 3 and all the movies that came after. This film reunites Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger after 28 years, and the actors return to their iconic roles. In the film, the machines send an advanced Terminator (Luna), designated Rev-9, back in time to 2020 to eliminate Dani Ramos (Reyes), whose fate is connected to the future. The Resistance also send Grace, an augmented soldier, back in time to defend Dani, while they are joined by Sarah Connor and an aging T-800 Terminator.

The figure are packaged in window boxes that includes artwork inspired from the film, and a description of the characters on the back.
As this movie is set 25 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton have aged and the figures include authentic likenesses to the actors. The T-800 is given a modern update as seen in the film, and includes a brown leather jacket with a black wash over it, a black sweater, black pants with a blue wash, and brown shoes. The clothing has realistic folds and attention to detail that we’ve seen in previous Terminator figures over the years. The entire sculpt is brand new as it focuses on this particular film, including the appearance of the aging T-800.
The T-800 includes two interchangeable head sculpts, one with glasses, and one without, and both the heads include such great sculpted detail and spectacular paint applications that give it a life-like look. The glasses are sculpted on and cannot be removed, and the hair also has a light grey wash over it to show his age. He also includes interchangeable hands (4), and three weapons that he can hold.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball-hinged shoulders, double ball-hinged elbows, ball jointed wrists, ball jointed waist, ball-hinged hips, hinged-swivel knees, swivel thighs, and ball jointed ankles.
Sarah Connor is also given a nice update to her appearance as seen in the film, and is sculpted in a black bulletproof vest with a painted wash and great attention to detail, green shirt, black belt with a silver belt buckle, black pants and black shoes. The sculpt also includes the realistic folds and wrinkles and the attention to detail that NECA fans and collectors are used too, which also includes sculpted textures on the vest and pants.
Her head sculpts are nicely done and she also includes two interchangeable heads, one with glasses sculpted on and one without. Her hair also has a wash over it, and her facial details and paint applications gives her a great likeness. Also included with Sarah Connor is an interchangeable right hand, pistol, and two assault weapons.
Her articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, ball jointed wrists, ball jointed waist, ball-hinged hips, hinged-swivel knees, and hinged ankles.
