Kylo Ren and the TIE Fighter are packaged in a window box, with the Toy Box artwork, artwork of Kylo Ren and the TIE Fighter on the sides, and images on the back.

Disney Infinity was Disney’s version of LEGO Dimensions, where franchises collide and characters can interact. These figures are loosely based on this game, and have been re-engineered and articulated to resemble the game’s likeness.

Kylo Ren’s Starfighter is the fourth vehicle offered in the Star Wars Toy Box line, with the TIE Fighter from The Empire Strikes back released back in 2018, and two offerings of the Millennium Falcon, the Disney store is truly digging into the Star Wars franchise and giving fans some nice looking vehicles for this 5″ line. The Starfighter is based on its appearance in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and measures roughly 13″ long, 7″ wide, and 7″ tall with Kylo Ren in the cockpit. The vehicle has a nicely done sculpted textures on the wings on both sides, and the wings are also curved inward on the top and bottom. The cockpit is round and the wings are connected with ports on the sides, and the cockpit includes two firing missiles, a handle in the back that allows you to spin the vehicle around that activates by pressing the button the handle. It also features flying sounds that are activated when you spin the vehicle. The cockpit includes a clip that holds the figure into place in the cockpit, and by raising or lowering the clip you activate the sounds. The missiles can fire by pressing the buttons on top of the vehicle.

Kylo Ren stands at 5″ tall and is sculpted in a new black outfit as opposed to his hooded release in 2017. This is the same figure that was just released, but the came has been removed so he can fit inside the cockpit. Compared to the 2017 figure, the sculpt uses the same arms and legs, and hs is given a new belt, and head sculpt. What is also new is the metallic silver deco on the belt, as opposed to the previous version left black. The outfit includes the sculpted grooves throughout it that adds a nice look to the design. His head sculpt includes the new cracks in his mask and helmet, which are painted in red and are sculpted in. His left hand sculpt is designed to look as if he is using the force, and the right hand can hold the lightsaber. The lightsaber hilt has also been repainted, with the some of the silver replaced with gold and red deco, and on one part not painted at all. Included with Kylo Ren is his red lightsaber.

He articulation includes a ball jointed neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, waist rotation, swivel-hinged hips, swivel-hinged knees, and hinged ankles.

Overall, there is a lot of love right now for the Toy Box line at the Disney Store, and the designers continue to do an incredible job on these figures. Kylo Ren with his Starfighter are great additions to the line and you get a lot of value here for the $29.95 price point. The quality on this vehicle are others are truly amazing and these are definitely fun to play with. Even better, each of the Toy Box figures and vehicles are meant to be swappable so you can have Iron Man pilot this Starfighter or Kylo Ren inside the Hulkbuster suit. This is an incredible line so make sure to grab these now at The Disney Store!
