McFarlane Toys are showing off some new DC Multiverse, Spawn, addition offerings at this years New York ToyFair. Revealed today is their upcoming Spawn line that will be offered as a Kickstarter offering. The figure will be fully articulated just like their other 7″ scale figures.
The prototype shown is a prototype and the articulation is not on this figure. If Spawn reaches his goal, more characters from the 1990’s will be offered. This is Todd McFarlane’s way of bringing back Spawn to the consumer. They had several 1990’s Spawn figures on display.
Also shown are some of their Mortal Kombat figures, and we took a look at their DC Multiverse offerings.
I had a chance to talk to Todd McFarlane at the event. He can no longer make vehicles for DC Multiverse, such as their Collect & Connect Batmobile. He had planned to make these for as long as he can. The new plan is to make figures in the Collect & Connect line, and offer it as a 4 figure wave, so 4 figures will be needed to collect in order to build the character. I suggested a 90’s era Lobo character as he’s big and bulky. Todd seemed to like that idea, so we’ll see.
These figures and more are available on BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, Megalopolis: City Of Collectibles, Hobby Link Japan, Things From Another World and Amazon.
