NECA Toys The Conjuring Universe – 7″ Scale Ultimate Annabelle Figure Review

Annabelle joins NECA Toys Ultimate line-up of horror-themed figures, and is set in The Conjuring Universe. Annabelle appears throughout The Conjuring films. This possessed doll comes with interchangeable heads, her hair and even a great looking museum doll case.

Thank you to NECA Toys for providing their The Conjuring Universe – 7″ Scale Ultimate Annabelle Figure for review.

Availability: February 2020

Annabelle is packaged in a window box with an opening flap, with artwork on the cover and sides that is inspired from the movie poster, images and a description on the back, and on the back side of the flap is another image of the figure.

Annabelle stands at 4 1/2″ tall and comes as she appearance in the film, including a white dress with the top layer sculpted and painted in a metallic silver wth sculpted folds and details to look like a real dress, and the skirt is made of silver fabric with a shine to it. Her shoes are designed to match the dress, and are in the same shiny metallic silver as the sleeves and torso. The dress also includes a red flower and strap around her waist, and a red line across the top. All three of her head sculpts have a great likeness and captures the doll-like appearance quite nicely, with the blonde hair with a black wash over it, red ties on her braided hair that rests over both shoulders, and great details to the face, including the blue eyes, nose and mouth, and not to mention the paint applications done here.

She is also articulated, including a ball jointed head, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel wrists, swivel waist, ball hinged hips, swivel-hinged knees, and rocker ankles.

Other than Annabelle, the display case is the real eye catcher for fans, and is made of plastic with clear acrylic on all four sides. It comes in two parts in the package, and the base plugs right into the pegs and ready for display. On the front of it is a key already in the slot, and a card showing a demon. She also comes with a Warning sign, and another card saying “Miss Me?” In addition to that, the three head sculpts are unique to each other with the eyes, and how the face is sculpted. She also includes a chair that she can sit on, which looks like wood and there is even some wear and tear to it just like how an old wooden chair would look like. The chair and Annabelle fits nicely into the case, as long as you press it closed on top as the skirt tends to stick out.

Overall, Annabelle is amazingly detailed and definitely something that fans will enjoy. We love how she fits into the case for a great display piece on your shelf, and she makes a great addition to the Ultimate line. Annabelle is available now, and you can find her at the stores listed below:
