NECA Toys is now offering their movie accurate Back to the Future figures and these are surely one for the history books. This should be the definitive line that fans are going to remember, as it’s not only the first of its kind, but also offers fans that much needed demand that many have been waiting for. This line-up includes Marty McFly (1985), Marty McFly (2015) Biff, Doc Brown, and Tales From Space Marty.

Marty is packaged in window boxes with movie inspired artwork on the front and sides, images of the figure on the back along with a description. The window flap also has an image of the figure, and he is protected in a plastic tray along with his accessories.
Marty McFly is based on how he looked in 2015 in Back to the Future Part II, with a red and dark grey jacket, and the red part of the jacket has a sculpted texture to it. Under the jacket is a dark red shirt, his jeans are painted in a light blue, and he has sneakers that are white, grey and some green on the sides. The jacket and pants have a wash over it, which makes it look more realistic, and they did a great job on the likeness. His head sculpts came out great, with an excellent likeness and facial details that almost makes him look exactly as he appeared on screen, and features the likeness of actor Michael J Fox. The hat is sculpted to his head, and has nicely done metallic colors inspired from the film.
The figure comes with an assortment of accessories inspired from a number of scenes from the film, including a hoverboard with two interchangeable pieces as specified in the video and gallery, an acrylic stand for the hoverboard, two interchangeable head sculpts, and an interchangeable hand sculpt. The hoverboard is nicely done and they did a great job on the likeness and attention to detail. NECA even put their logo on the top in several spaces, which is pretty neat. He also includes a soda bottle and a case to put in.
Overall, NECA’s Back To The Future line is one of this years best offerings in the toy industry, and even made our Top 10 list from a few weeks ago. The likenesses and great attention to detail makes this line the best offerings for the franchise to-date, and comes just in time for the 35th Anniversary of the first film. This is a great line that every BTTF fan should own.
