NECA Toys is now offering their Toony Classics Ace Ventura Figure, which is an animated type likeness of Actor Jim Carrey is one of his most iconic roles. Toony Classics, much like Toony Terrors, is a new take on iconic characters in an animated type style that you have never seen before. This fun and cute line offers everything from living legends like Bob Ross, and now we have Ace Ventura in this line.

Ace Ventura is packaged on a blister card with animated artwork on the front and back. Also on the back is a brief description, along with his animal companions that are included, and his interchangeable head.
Ace Ventura joins the Toony Classics line and features the likeness of Actor Jim Carrey in one of his all time iconic roles, and it allegedly seems that a third film is currently in the works with him reprising this role. The Toony Classics line is similar to Toony Terrors, with an animated inspired design, deco and limited articulation. This Ace Ventura figure fits perfectly into this line, and he comes in his yellow Hawaiian shirt with green flowers, a white undershirt, red pants with blue stripes going down the front and back, and a black belt with a yellow belt buckle.
Ace Ventura cannot stand on his own, and has to stand atop the alligator that has a peg joint for the hole in the bottom of his foot. The monkey and pigeon can also attach themselves to his arms, which connect by pegs on the bottom of their feet, and go inside the holes on his arms. The alligator, monkey and pigeon do not have articulation, and are meant to be connected to Ace Ventura for display. His thumbs also point down and since he doesn’t have a wrist swivel, you cannot swivel them upward.
His alternate head sculpts include an open mouth, and a closed mouth with different facial expressions. Both of these head sculpts have the same iconic brown hair style, with it pointing upwards in the front, and down in the back.
Ace’s articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel shoulders, swivel biceps, and swivel calves.
Overall, Ace Ventura is a great looking figure and a nice addition to the Toony Classics line. If you’ve been collecting the Toony Classics and Toony Terrors line, you will definitely enjoy this one.
