Diamond Select Toys newly released Pirates of the Caribbean Deluxe Jack Sparrow Figure that is available now. Jack Sparrow is inspired from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales film, which was the latest film in the series released in 2017. Jack Sparrow includes an interchangeable hand with a sword, and parts of the Black Pearl pirate ship to create a diorama.

Jack Sparrow is packaged in a window box, with nicely done artwork on the front, windows on the sides, and an image of the figure as well as a description on the back.
Jack Sparrow is inspired from the most recent film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, where Johnny Depp reprises his role and faces off against an old foe – Captain Salazar, and this Spanish Captain sets sail after escaping the Devil’s Triangle to continue where he left off, to end all pirates.
The figure features the likeness of actor Johnny Depp, with a nicely done detailed likeness, including a scar on his right cheek, nicely sculpted facial details, including a heard with hair hanging down with beads. The hair is also sculpted and painted in brown, with beads and jewelry in the front, and on the back is a skull jewelry piece in the hair. The hat and bandana cannot be removed from his head, as they are sculpted on.
His outfit is given various colors, including his compass that he betrayed at the beginning of the film, and that is what broke the curse to allow Captain Salazar to escape. The compass is painted in black and gold, and he also has a brown belt with a buckle, and additional accessories each painted in various colors. The shirt is painted in purple with a brown wash, and his dark grey jacket has gold buttons painted on the front, sleeves, as well as the pockets on the back.
His hands also have rings on the fingers and there is a multi-color bandage wrapped around his right hand that holds the sword. The fingernails are also painted, which you see on both of the right hands and left. The handle of the sword is attached to the hand, and cannot be removed. In addition, the way that the sleeve is sculpted makes it a bit hard to get the hand in the socket, and you have to be real gentle here and slide it in carefully.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso (with limited motion due to the jacket), ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Also included are parts of the Black Pearl Pirate Ship that you place the pieces together to form a diorama. The pieces are sculpted and painted to look like wood, with various sculpted textures and great attention to detail. There are no instructions here, so you have to figure out how this is set up yourself, and when you’re done, it should look like this. There are columns on the sides, and railing that Jack Sparrow can stand in front of or behind. This is big enough to hold at least two figures to display on. Jack also includes a black figure stand with a peg for one of his feet.
Overall, Jack Sparrow is a great figure with a stellar likeness and attention to detail that fans will love. The attention to detail on his came out great, including the jewelry on the hair, accessories on his waist, and the Black Pearl diorama.
