Disney Store is now offering their exclusive Star Wars Toy Box Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex Set. These figures may pay homage to the Clone Wars, which you can check out the final season now on Disney+. The Toy Box line in general pays homage to the Disney Infinity game, which was Disney’s version of LEGO Dimensions, where franchises collide and characters can interact. These figures are loosely based on this game, and have been re-engineered and articulated to resemble the game’s likeness.

Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex are packaged in the standard Toy Box blister card, including an image of them on the side, and images of them and other figures that are also available. This set is numbered as 22 in the Star Wars Toy Box line.
Ahsoka Tano finally joins the line and its been inevitable that we get her into the Toy Box line given her popularity. While the Toy Box line initially started to pay homage to Disney Infinity, Ahsoka Tano is not in the outfit she wore in the game, but rather as she appeared in the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. This outfit is mostly blue, with grey shin guards, and line patterns on the shirt and skirt. The forearms includes gauntlets that are also blue and grey, and the hands are also gloved with the fingers poking through. Her head sculpt looks great including the light grey patterns on her face, and she includes blue and grey hair, and nicely done facial details. Included are two lightsabers, that she can hold to recreate various poses.
Captain Rex is also inspired from The Clone Wars, and comes in his phase 1 Arc Trooper armor. The blue marking and deco indicate the 501st Legion. The armor and deco are nicely done with crisp lines and bright white armor, with the blue, dark grey and black deco. The helmet is not removable, and includes the antenna, and markings on the sides indicating how many battle droids he destroyed. The armor includes sculpted lines, and Arc Trooper insignia such as the shoulder pad. On both sides of the skirt are holsters for his two blasters, which can fit inside. The skirt is made of a soft plastic, which does prevent some of the range of motion of the legs.
Overall, The Disney Toy Box line continues to grow and Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex are two great additions to the line. These are definitely worth adding to your Toy Box collection, Disney collection or just any Star Wars toy collection that you may have. Make sure to grab them now while they’re available.
