This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Evil Dead film, which was released on October 15th, 1981. The film introduced the character of Ash Williams, starring Bruce Campbell, in what will become one of his most iconic roles. The film saw several sequels, many comic book storylines, and even a live action tv series called Ash vs. Evil Dead on Starz, which saw the return of Ash William many years after the events of the film trilogy, along with the introduction of new characters, the return to the cabin, and so many new deadites and demons.
In celebration of the original film, NECA is offering a new Ash Williams figure, along with some accessories as seen in the image. Shown is Ash sitting a table, and what is noticeable is that he has both of his bands, which we know he looses his right hand in the film and replaces it with a chainsaw, which becomes his iconic weapon against the deadites.
