NECA Toys announced that Usagi Yojimbo, a character created by award-winning artist Stan Sakai, will be joining their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line in the Classic Cartoon collection. This reveal comes is timed for Turtle Tuesday, and you have a rendering of the figure that will be offered. In the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, Usagi made a number of episode appearances, including two appearances in the third season. These episodes include “Usagi Yojimbo” and “Usagi Come Home.”
The upcoming figure from NECA will likely be influenced from his appearance in both of these episodes, such as scene specific accessories. No details on his release at this time.
