Diamond Select Toys have brought back some of their popular Muppets Select figures, and series 3 includes Dr. Teeth, Zoot, Animal, Floyd Pepper and Janice figures that are available now. The Best Of series is a great way to catch up on anything you may have missed the first-time around, or to jump in and start the collection with some of the best Muppets figures ever made. Each figure includes musical instruments and loaded with attention to detail and articulation.

The figures are packaging in a window box, with artwork and images on the front and sides, and images of the figures on the back.
Dr. Teeth and Zoot come in their classic likenesses, and Dr. Teeth especially has a lot of complete character sculpting and paint applications to match the characters design as seen in the film. The bright colors on the clothing and attention to detail on the paint applications really came out great, especially the sweater, jacket, sleeves, scarf, hat, and the rings on his fingers painted in a metallic gold. The facial details look great especially the wide open mouth, nose and eyes, and he has glasses just above the eyes that are sculpted on.
He comes with a keyboard with white eyes, and features a great likeness.
Dr. Teeth’s articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel wrists, ball-hinged hips, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Zoot has a much more quieter color character design with the beige shirt and blue pants, and has a non-removable blue hat and silver glasses with black shares over his eyes. The likeness is equally as impressive, especially the facial details, textured hair with the blue wash, and sandals on the feet. Included is a saxophone that he holds in both hands, but has to be held on a certain way or it will fall off.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles. The ankles were twisted around in the packaging and it took some time to get the hinge joint to face forward so he can properly stand.
Floyd Pepper is another figure with impressive deco, especially with the gold on the red jacket, which the bottom half is made of a soft plastic to allow more room of the leg articulation. He also comes in dark blue pants, brown boots, black sleeves, and a dark green hat that is non-removable. The facial details came out great, especially the red hair and mustache, glasses that are non-removable, nose and mouth. Included is a guitar, microphone with stand, and a harmonica.

Janice comes in her pink short, short blue skirt with a wash and a brown belt, a brown hat with an object on the front. Her wrists and ankles have silver metallic bracelets, and she is in high heels with black buttons, and silver metallic straps. Her head sculpt also has a great likeness, with a wide open mouth, lips, long blonde hair, and eyes. She includes a guitar, boom box, and a tambourine.

Overall, Diamond Select Toys has been offering such incredible looking Muppets figures and hopefully you’ve been collecting these over the years. The attention to detail, especially the likenesses have all been top notch, and these are surely worth adding to your collection.
