Teela is packaged on the standard window box packaging for the line, including some great artwork and images, and a description on the back.

Teela gets a brand new release in this line, which pays tribute to her 80’s design while keeping her new design based on this series. She comes in her white and metallic gold outfit, brown boots with white cuffs. The outfit includes nicely done sculpted details and patterns that are painted in the metallic gold deco, while the white is smooth. Both of her head sculpts came out great and offers different hair styles, as well as each being newly tooled. The headband on Teela is also painted in metallic gold with a red jewel on top, and sculpted over he hair. The long hair head sculpt has hair going down the back, and both sides of her face. Both of the facial details and nicely done, each with great paint applications applied and the facial expressions and paint apps are done different on each one of the heads.

Teela comes with a sword, two sets of interchangeable heads, two sets of hands, and a shield. The hands include two open grip, closed fisted and open hand (best used for the shield). The sword and shield itself look great, with the exception that the shield is prone to falling off with the open hand sculpt.

Her articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball jointed torso, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles.

Comparing her to two different Teela figures makes her stand out even more than you may realize, as the new outfit is brighter compared to the first release in the Masterverse line, and her Masters of the Universe Classics release. The new bright deco makes her stand out more compared to the darker tones given to these other figures, and also a fresh of breath air if you’re looking for something a bit more classic to add to your toy shelf.

Overall, Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Revelation Masterverse line continues to offer some great looking figures inspired from the series, and Mer-Man is a perfect example of that. You are definitely going to want to jump in on this line, even if you already have the MOTU Classics figures.
