Bandai Tamashii Nations upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder Thor, and Mighty Thor Figures are available now, and based on the new film. The film follows the events of Avengers: Endgame, and starts off with him still with the Guardians of the Galaxy when he called away. Thor includes two head sculpts, interchangeable hands, Stormbreaker and Stormbreaker lightning effect, Make to also check out Mighty Thor’s review.

Thor is packaged in the standard S.H. Figuarts box, with movie inspired artwork along with images of the figure on the sides and back. Inside, he is packaged in a plastic tray, along with his accessories for safe keeping, and there’s a sheet of instructions behind the diorama backing.
Thor gets a brand new outfit as seen in Thor: Love and Thunder, the film that follows the events of Avengers: Endgame. The outfit features a great likeness to his on-screen appearance, including the dark grey, metallic gold and blue, red and black deco that are the primary colors. The suit also features some sculpted textures, details and patterns, all with crisp paint applications to give you a high-end looking figure. The cape is made of fabric and also features a wire to allow some custom posing, including the ability to pose it like the wind is picking it up, such as when he’s using his lightning effect for Stormbreaker.
The face plates are interchangeable and easy to swap out, and includes a great likeness to actor Chris Hemsworth. with nicely done paint applications, including a wash over the skin, sculpted hair, and lightning effect eyes on one of these. The face plates also includes a sculpted beard and mustache, which is given a darker tone compared to the hair, and some additional paint applications on the sides of the face.
Thor includes an assortment of accessories, including the extra face plate, two additional sets of hands, Stormbreaker, and an extra swappable blade. Stormbreaker’s lightning effect is a nice touch and it’s also easy to swap out the blades.
There’s a lot of great poses that can be re-created with Thor using Stormbreaker, especially the lightning effect face plate and blade.
Thor also features all of the articulation that you’ll be used too in the S.H. Figuarts line. Including a ball jointed head, butterfly shoulders, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso x2 (top and bottom), ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel-hinged and rocker ankles and hinged toes.
Overall, Thor is phenomenal and a great representation of his movie appearance that you need to own. The suit is amazingly detailed with some great sculpting, attention to detail, and the interchangeable parts make this figure totally worth adding do your collection.
