Bandai Tamashii Nations upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder Thor, and Mighty Thor Figures are available now, and based on the new film. The film follows the events of Avengers: Endgame, and starts off with him still with the Guardians of the Galaxy when he called away. Mighty Thor is packaged in the standard S.H. Figuarts box, with movie inspired artwork along with images of the figure on the sides and back. Inside, she is packaged in a plastic tray, along with his accessories for safe keeping, and there’s a sheet of instructions behind the diorama backing.
Mighty Thor comes in her outfit as seen in Thor: Love and Thunder, the film that follows the events of Avengers: Endgame. The outfit features a great likeness to her on-screen appearance, including the dark grey, metallic silver, dark and light red deco that are the primary colors. The suit also features some sculpted textures, details and patterns, all with crisp paint applications to give you a high-end looking figure. The cape is made of fabric and also features a wire to allow some custom posing, including the ability to pose it like the wind is picking it up, such as when she’s using her lightning effect for Mjolnir.

She comes with two head sculpts that easy to swap out, and includes a great likeness to actor Natalie Portman, with nicely done paint applications, including a wash over the skin, sculpted hair, and and a helmeted head sculpt with new hair pieces to swap out. Both heads require different hair pieces, such as the helmeted head has two, while the regular head sculpt only has one.
Mighty Thor includes an assortment of accessories, including a helmeted head, two additional sets of hands, Mjollnir, Exploded Mjollnir effect, and Mjollnir lightning effect. The lightning effects are a nice touch, and you pull the hammer off and place one of them on the handle for the effect.
There’s a lot of great poses that can be re-created with Mighty Thor using Mjollnir, especially the lightning effect parts.
Mighty Thor also features all of the articulation that you’ll be used too in the S.H. Figuarts line. Including a ball jointed head, butterfly shoulders, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso x2 (top and bottom), ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel-hinged and rocker ankles and hinged toes.
Overall, Mighty Thor is phenomenal and a great representation of his movie appearance that you need to own. The suit is amazingly detailed with some great sculpting, attention to detail, and the interchangeable parts make this figure totally worth adding do your collection. S.H. Figuarts continues to offers fans a much more accurate figure sculpt, and quality paint applications for the price point, and the interchangeable parts such as the lightning effects are a easy no-brainer to add this figure to your collection.
