NECA Toys is offering two different versions of their Universal Monsters Ultimate Dracula figures, including a black and white (Carfax Abbey) and in-color (Transylvania) versions of the figure. This review focuses on the in-color version, which is part of the 90th anniversary of Universal Monsters celebration. Both of these versions are based on the likeness of actor Bela Lugosi, in his most iconic and memorable role.

Dracula is packed in a window box with an opening flap, with original artwork on the cover, images of the figures on the sides, and images, a description on the back. The inside flap features an image of Dracula, and the figure comes in a plastic tray inside.
Dracula is based on his appearance in the classic 1931 film starring Bela Lugosi, and this figure features a spectacular likeness. He comes in his tuxedo, with a black jacket, black paints, metallic black shoes, a grey vest, a white undershirt with a wash, a red ribbon with a metallic gold jewelry, and a white handkerchief.
The head sculpts are all unique and each has a different facial expression, especially on the mouth. The facial details and likeness on these look great, and each has flat black hair that’s sculpted, and nicely done washes and deco.
Dracula includes a handful of accessories, including two head sculpts, a cape, additional interchangeable hands, a bat, a stand and base for the bat, wine bottle, goblets, candlestick, and serving plate.
The bat is ball jointed on the top part of the stand, and comes with detailed sculpt with nicely done facial details, sculpted hair, and long wings.
The candlestick is lit, and comes with a white candle with melting wax, and a detailed handle. This fits inside his right open grip hand sculpt.
He also comes with a whine bottle, goblets with whine or blood inside, and a tray to put it on.
He is also fully articulated, and includes a ball jointed head, ball jointed neck, ball hinged shoulders, hinged-swivel biceps, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, hinged-swivel knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Dracula is long overdue to get a figure that looks like this and this is surely going to be remembered by fans that have waited years for this. This is the definitive version of a Bela Lugosi Dracula figure that you need to own.
