NECA’s Universal Monsters x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-brand line gets the much anticipated release of Casey Jones as The IPhantom, joining an already impressive line. Casey Jones as The Phantom is an interested crossover, given that both are known to wear masks.

Casey Jones as The Phantom is packaged in a window box with an opening flap, with nicely done artwork and images of the figure on the front, sides, and back. The back also includes various poses and text showcasing the accessories. Inside, he comes packaged in a plastic tray along with his accessories, and the opening flap to the right has another image of him.
Casey Jones as The Phantom comes in a black tuxedo, white undershirt with a dark red bow-tie, a dark red girdle, a brown belt with a silver belt buckle, black pants with hockey pads, brown knee pads, red socks, and brown boots with cleats at the bottom. The sculpt also has metallic silver round buttons on the tuxedo, small white buttons on the shirt and girdle, and black gloves with holds and his fingers poking out.
The head sculpts include two with the mask, one that has part of it brown off revealing the scars on his face, and the third one a skeleton. The mask is painted in a light grey with a wash, with eyes glaring at you, a nose and mouth piece. Both also have long black sculpted hair, with a brown strap around the back. The skeleton head has black eye holes and nose, yellow sculpted teeth, and a nice wash over it.
Casey Jones includes four sets of interchangeable hockey gloved hands, a cloak, four sets of interchangeable hands (open handed, several grip and closed fisted), three head sculpts, and two hockey sticks.
The cloak fits over his body, and the arms go through the sides. It’s made of fabric and has a shine to it.
The hockey gloves are used for by a goalie, and come in a dark brown, and red with a padded top, that also has a skull and an X on it. The hockey sticks include a goalie stick, and one used by players, and both have hockey tape that is given a sculpted texture, and painted in a dark brown to look like wood.
He is also fully articulated, and includes a ball jointed head, ball jointed neck, swivel-hinged shoulders, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, double hinged-swivel knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Casey Jones as The Phantom is a beautifully done figure, with bringing the best of both characters into this special offering. Make sure you’re picking up this line, as it’s surely something that both TMNT and horror fans will enjoy.
