Diamond Select Toys newly released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Blimp Minimates Deluxe Set is inspired from the classic cartoon series, and is a long anticipated offering for many given it’s taken them a few years to get these into the hands of fans. This set includes Shredder, Bebop, Donatello, April O’Neil, and a Foot Soldier, all in their cartoon colors and outfits. As you are probably aware, these Minimates would also be compatible with brands also offered in this line, so you can swap out parts and accessories to your liking.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Blimp Minimates Deluxe Set is packaged in a window box with a sliding top, and features the artwork of the Turtles Blimp on the front, images of three waves of this line on the back, and images of the Minimates on the sides. Once the top is lifted, you see the Minimates inside, and the back features a description.
The set includes Bebop, Shredder, a Foot Solider, April O’ Neil, and Donatello, and in Minimate block form. Some have new tooling, such as Bebop’s head and vest, Shredder’s helmet, cape, gauntlets and shin guards, the Foot Soldier’s gauntlets, Donatello’s chest overly, and newly tooled accessories.
Bebop comes in a red vest that’s torn on the top and bottom, a white bone necklace, a black harness with grenades on his chest, black pants with a grey belt buckle, red and white shoes, and chains around his wrists. The head sculpt includes the purple sunglasses, and purple mohawk, and he has a nose and earring in silver. Bebop includes a blaster and an acrylic figure base.
Shredder comes in his metallic silver helmet, a purple cape, grey and black outfit, with bladed shoulder pads and gauntlets. The blades on the gauntlets are not extended, and he also has bladed shin guards. Shin guards are also metallic silver. He includes a hair piece, sword and an acrylic figure base.
The Foot Soldier is purple and black, and the head has the Foot symbol in his forehead, with yellow eyes, The gauntlets are painted in a metallic silver, and he comes with a blaster, sword and an acrylic figure base.
April O’Neil comes in her yellow and white jumpsuit, which is all painted over the Minimate block. The hair piece is sculpted and brown, and the facial details are basic as you’d expect in this line. Included is a microphone and an acrylic figure base.
Donatello comes with a chest overly that is placed over the Minimate block, and he comes in green skin, with a yellow chest, tan shell, a brown belt with the letter D on the belt buckle, and purple bandana, elbow, wrist and knee pads. Included is his bo staff and an acrylic figure base.
Overall, this is an excellent set that fans should own especially if you are a TMNT enthusiasts and love the classic series. This is available now at your local comic shop, or you can order at one of the stores listed below:
