Savanti comes in a window box packaging, with beautifully done artwork inspired from the comic series, images of the character on both sides, images of the figure and a look at what’s coming on the back.

Savanti is based on his appearance in Mirage Comics, and ihis appearance s a half mutant, half demon that was transformed into this as punishment for his crimes. His legs are given sculpted brown fur with hooves, and the horns start at the forehead and go all the way down his back. His outfit is red and yellow with black lines giving him definition. The shoulders include light grey spikes, that are on the shape side.

His head sculpt features a hinged jaw, the horns, a pig shaped nose, pointy ears, and sharp while teeth, with eyes that are red and yellow. The hinged jaw allows you to see the tongue, which is painted in a bright red.

Included are three sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, open hands, and open grip), the Time Scepter, and two effect parts. The Time Scepter has a giant hand, with white finger nails, a handle, white horns, and also painted in yellow and a light blue. As the feet are hooved, getting him to stand may be challenging, especially when you’re trying to pose him with the Time Scepter. To help with this, NECA included a black base to help him stand, which has one peg for his foot.

The two attachments are a bright green, and fits on the open hand and clips on the Time Scepter. Both of these effects make great additions to the display and visual appeal of this figure.

Comparing him to Renet, he is the perfect opponent for her. Unfortunately I don’t have the blue version of Renet, of that Turtles 4-pack (that’s coming later this year). The figures look great together, and it’s also not everyday in a toyline you get both characters offered, so getting them in this line  is something unique and special.

His articulation includes a ball jointed head, hinged jaw, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, and swivel-hinged ankles.

Overall, Savanti is a beautiful figure and an essential character to the Mirage Comics inspired line. The likeness and attention to detail is top notch and fits in perfectly with the collection. This is surely a character you need to add to your toy shelf. Make sure to grab him and additional figures now!
