Nosferatu is a 1922 German silent film, which stars Max Schreck as Count Orlok. This was supposedly a knock off film from Dracula, and the people that created this film were sued as the film was supposed to be destroyed as court ordered. However, copies of this film was already overseas in international boarders when the court filed its ruling, so the film was saved. Nosferatu is its own film and not part of Paramount’s Universal Monsters, as the studio did not create this film. NECA is offering Count Orlok as part of their Ultimate 7″ line, so he will fit to scale with other figures.

Nosferatu comes in a window box packaging, with beautifully done artwork inspired from the film, images of the character on both sides, and images of the figure on the opening flap. He comes packaged in a plastic tray along with his accessories.
Count Orlok is based on his 1922 film, and comes in a brown coat black pants and shoes, with buttons on the front of the coat to keep it closed. Underneath the jacket you see a black shirt, and the coat is made of a soft plastic.
His three head sculpts are all unique with different facial expressions and inspired from various scenes in the film. The hat is removable and is meant to be used for the head sculpt shown above.
Included are three sets of interchangeable heads, four sets of hands, a letter, hat, keys, Quill pen and ink pot, and a bottle.
The interchangeable hands works great for any of the head sculpts and you get a number of great poses and options to display him with the heads and hands. The long fingernail/claw-like hands are probably my favorite as this is his most memorable appearance (one of them anyway).
The keys are made with a real chain link and they actually look like dungeon keys, with the long handle and design. The Quill pen can be placed in a closed hand with a tiny hole it can fit through, or placed in the ink pot. The bottle is black and best to be placed on a table, and the letter is double-sided.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, swivel-hinged knees, and swivel-hinged ankles.
Overall, Count Orlok is a great figure and likeness to the source material that fans will surely love. He makes a great additional, and essential to your NECA horror collection given he was one of the first monsters/vampire movies ever made. The likeness and attention to detail is top notch and fits in perfectly with other horror figures. This is surely a character you need to add to your toy shelf. Make sure to grab him and additional figures now!
