Hasbro’s newly released Transformers Studio Series The Movie ’86 Constructicons Bonecrusher and Scrapper Figures are the best versions of these characters ever released, which says a lot about this new era as their Combiner Wars offerings were great 10 years ago, but these take that to an entirely different level. These are based on the 1986 Transformers The Movie, and each Construction forms a part to build Devastator. Bonecrusher is a Deluxe figure, and Srapper is a Voyager-Class figure as offering him like this allowed ankle joint articulation for Devastator.

Bonecrusher and Scrapper are packaged in a plastic-less box, with nicely done artwork showing the characters on the front, right side showing Devesator, left side showing more of the character from the front, and the back includes images of the figures in both modes, a description, and Devastator from Transformers; The Movie. Both figures come in a cardboard box, and includes is a sheet of instructions. A look at both of the sheets of instructions are shown in the video above.
Bonecrusher and Scrapper are essentially the same size, and are green, black, purple, metallic silver and red. Both have purple Decepticon logo’s on their chests, metallic silver faces, black and red visors on their heads. Scrapper has a larger Decepticon logo on his chest.
Bonecrusher is supposedly mid-transformed, as the connector piece for the combined mode’s elbow joint is installed upside-down, which prevents it from resting completely flat in any mode and making it easier to accidentally pull Devastator’s arm off. To fix this, you’re going to want to disassemble the torso and flipping the joint. To achieve this, you’re going to want to unscrew the difficult-to-access screw under his armpit, but requires you to remove the pin first, and removing the shoulder and arm to access this screw. If you leave it as is, the misassembly will still work if left as is.
Bonecrusher includes a blaster that can be placed in either of his hands, or on his back.
Bonecrusher transforms into a Bulldozer, which has a Deception logo on the front, treads on the sides that do not rotate, and nicely done details depicting the likeness.
Scrapper includes three blasters, a black one, and two purple one’s that can be placed in his hands.
Scrapper transforms into a Front-end Loader, with rotating wheels, and you can place the small black blaster on the back, or the two purple blasters on the sides of the back, with the blaster blaster plugged into the larger purple one.

Overall, Bonecrusher and Scrapper are great figures and a vast improvement over Combiner Wars or any other offering previously released. These are the best representations of these characters ever offered, and fans are certainly in for a treat with these new figures.
