After a bit of a delay, Blitzway announced their upcoming Ecto-1 Sixth Scale Vehicle that will be goes nicely with their 12″ Ghostbusters figures. The figures won’t be able to fit inside, as they size of the vehicle would have to be much larger for that to happen. Ecto-1 features working lights, possible sound effects and more. The doors even open, which is a great plus.
The closest compatible release that came to this was the Ecto-1 vehicle that Mattel planned years ago on Mattycollector. Sadly, that never happened due to them not reaching the minimum pre-orders they needed to go into production. The Blitzway Ecto-1 vehicle might even be compatible with Mattel’s 6″ Ghostbusters figures, which is something we cannot confirm at this time. Pricing and release information is not available yet. Keep checking back later this week for updates at San Diego Comic-Con as it happens.
