Jada Toys is expanding their popular Metal Figs line this year and acquired the Disney license to produce characters from many different movies and television shows. This of course includes Disney classic characters such as Micky Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, Kermit and many other great characters. Other popular Disney characters will hopefully be introduced in the line down the road, which includes classic Disney, television and movie characters.
The 1.65″ line-up includes two 5 packs, and one 10 pack with both doubles and characters only available in a specific package. These include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Alice, Mr. Incredible, Buzz Lightyear (Classic), Baymax, Mike Wazowski
Kermit (Classic), Sulley, and Animal in the 10-pack. The 5-packs are broken down by Pack A and Pack B. Pack A includes Micky Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Alice, Kermit and Stitch. Pack B includes Mr. Incredible, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Sulley and Mike Wazowski. The duplicates are the same in each of the packs, including the single packs being offered that are not shown here.

Some of Walt Disney’s classic creations are now in die cast form, and Jada Toys have taken these classic characters and are offering a high-end looking collectible figure at a low price point. Micky and Minnie Mouse are the two most recognized characters in this wave, which also could be said about Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story, and Mr. Incredible, Monsters Inc. Kermit the Frog and other characters.
The 10 pack offers fans an exclusive Animal figure as well as Baymax that are not available in the 5-packs. Each figure is painted in metallic deco and includes a stand that is sculpted to the bottom of the feet.
Micky Mouse is painted in metallic red pants, white gloves with black deco, and metallic yellow shoes. Minnie Mouse is sculpted in her metallic red dress, bow tie on the top of her head, metallic yellow high heels, and white gloves with black deco. Mr. Incredible is painted in his red superhero uniform with the “I” logo painted in black and yellow. There is also a black mask on his face, and black gloves and boots. Buzz Lightyear is painted in his white, green and purple space suit, with some black and red deco. The figure is un-helmeted, and includes blue eyes that are nicely done. Alice is painted in her blue sparkly and white dress, with blonde hair, yellow stockings, and black shoes. Kermit is painted in several shades of green, with eyes popping up on top of his head, and a red tongue. Animal is painted with a red head that looks furry, a yellow and orange shirt, and brown pants, and there is also a chain around his neck and attached to his body going down his shirt and pants. Baymax is painted in white, and black eyes, and the white deco has a shine to it that gives it a sparkling look. Scully is painted in a light blue with dark blue spots, with the light blue deco sparkling. The sculpt is also textured to indicate fur. Mike is painted in a light green deco, with a giant eye ball at the top part of his head, and an open mouth revealing his sharp white teeth.
Pack A offers fans Stitch, as he is not available in the 5 pack. This set is also focused on Disney characters, and also includes Micky Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Alice, and Kermit. Stitch is painted in light and dark blue deco that features a shine to the darker blue, as well as pink ears, black eyes and even darker blue nose.
Pack B is focused on Disney-Pixar characters, and offers fans Woody, as he is the key companion to Buzz in the Toy Story film. This set also includes Mr. Incredible, Scully, and Mike Wazowski. Woody is sculpted in his cowboy suit, with a brown hat, red scarf, yellow shirt, brown belt and holsters, blue pants and brown shoes.
Overall, even though these are small, the likeness and quality to them is just amazingly detailed. The facial likeness is also very well done, and captures the characters very well given the tiny size.
