Just listed as part of Wal-Mart‘s Black Friday sale is the Mattel Shop Exclusive DC Multiverse Batman and Superman 2-Pack is now $16.00. This was originally unveiled on Mattel Shop during San Diego Comic-Con, and had a MSRP of $39.99. The product is sold and ships directly from Mattel, but it’s still surprising to see it discounted for such a low price considering this was supposedly the beginning of a new line of collector’s products.
Since San Diego Comic-Con, we have been unable to obtain any information for our readers on the Mattel Shop Vault, Gold and Silver memberships, and if additional exclusive products will be offered. Despite a number of emails back and fourth with Mattel, they have not shared any information. We’re hoping to learn more about this at NYTF in February.
